Do you struggle to get your kids to sit down and eat breakfast? Me too. I don’t often have time during the week when rushing to get to school and work, but we recently started a tradition creating “pancake art” on Saturdays. Your kids can get creative with just a few easy ingredients. Have the fruit washed and cut (if needed) so when the pancakes come off the griddle, your little ones can get to work.
We usually go with strawberries, blueberries and bananas for our Saturday morning artwork. Sometimes we add grapes, nectarines, raisins and craisins for variety. You can’t help but smile at these whimsical creations! Pancake art provides both a nutritious breakfast and a fun activity.
