Four Fabulous Ways to Recycle Pool Noodles

Pool noodles are so much fun and so inexpensive – why use only for pool toys! With a little creativity, foam noodles can be used for so much more! Below are some fabulous ideas to recycle pool noodles when the kids tire of them.

  1.  Pool Noodle Beverage Holder

Make a floating beverage holder using just one noodle. Attach noodles to an inexpensive container to avoid dehydration while exercising in the pool!

Fun decorating idea for your next party! Roll the foam noodle like a cinnamon roll. Cut an “X” with scissors into the noodle and insert PVC pipe (secure with glue). Slide the PVC pipe over a thin garden stake hammered into the ground to secure. If you like, wrap a sheet of cellophane around the noodle top to create a “wrapper” and finish off with a ribbon. So cute!

4. Pool Noodle Plant Supports

Use colorful pool noodles cut to different sizes as a support for plants in place of a wooden stake. Simply cut the noodle lengthwise using a knife and fit it around the base of a plant. As the plant gradually grows taller, you can add another section to support the added growth. Create a vibrant looking garden with your kids!
