Summer hunger is alive and well. Sadly, 21 million children who receive free or reduced cost meals during the school year lose those benefits in the summer. Fortunately free meals are available in the U.S.

This is the real deal – it’s part of a program run by an organization called “No Kid Hungry” to make sure children under 18 years old have access to nutritious meals. The meals are based on USDA guidelines.
